MidHudsonObits.com an online home for local obituaries, cared for with love by a local writer, Beth Quinn.
Beth was raised in the Orange County and has also lived in Sullivan and Ulster counties. She knows the area, and she knows the people who live here.
For 26 years, she was the face of the region’s daily newspaper, Middletown’s Times Herald-Record, where she served as both writer and editor of various sections of the paper. She is the author of two books and the recipient of 38 state and national writing awards.
Throughout her career, the day’s obituaries were always the first thing she read with her morning coffee.
“There is probably no more important news item each day than a person’s obituary,” says Beth. “The death of a loved one is a critical time for families and friends, and it is critically important that obituaries be handled with care, love and writing expertise.”
Our goal at MidHudsonObits.com is to be the place readers visit as they drink their own morning coffee each day – and to be the keeper of every local family’s tribute to deceased loved ones.
